DESCRIPTION:The Red\, White\, and Blue Bash is a community event featuring a parade\, Freedom Fun Zone\, family events and activities\, food\, live music\, and fireworks to end the night! This is a hometown event that prides itself in providing a patriotic weekend for all local families and guests from afar. Come join our hometown fun and get your own piece of American nostalgia in beautiful downtown Gate City\, Virginia. \nGCF is hosting THE AFTER PARTY on July 6th to keep that patriotic spirit going strong all weekend! We are proudly partnering with Gate City UPC\, The Town of Gate City\, and Friends of Frontier to bring you an amazing day filled with family\, fun\, and fireworks! \n1:30-4:30 PM: We will start the celebration off right with the GCUPC Freedom Weekend kickoff featuring THE GCUPC worship team for music\, free inflatables\, treats\, GIVEAWAYS and FAMILY FUN! Food trucks will also be available to purchase food for lunch! \n5 PM: A hometown parade featuring all of your faves AND a new twist: the SPLASH ZONE on Jackson Street to keep you cool! The traditional parade route will be observed leaving GCHS\, up Kane Street\, left onto Jackson\, and back to complete the loop. Enjoy water gun fun on Jackson Street as parade floats squirt you to stay COOL! \nAfter the parade\, enjoy LOCAL music\, FOOD trucks\, activities and contests for ALL ages. Our FINAL band of the night is none other than SHOT THRU THE HEART: The Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute Band. \nMagician Joseph Young will keep the night fun for all ages as emcee and family entertainer! \nThe After Party will finish strong with fireworks in Downtown Gate City! \nDetailed schedule coming soon
