DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Gate City Frontier\, Inc. \n⭐️✨Join us for this year’s Miss Harvest Moon Scholarship Pageant!✨⭐️ \n⭐️We are so excited to announce that we are back and an official preliminary to the Virginia Association of Fairs Scholarship Pageant! \n⭐️You will not only represent the beautiful town of Gate City\, Virginia but our Miss division will have the opportunity to represent the state of Virginia while vying for Miss VAF in Williamsburg January \n2026! \n⭐️This is a semi-glitz pageant\, so please wear age appropriate hair\, makeup\, and attire for each portion of competition. \n‼️ALL INFORMATION IS LISTED IN THE APPLICATION BUT HERE IS SOME QUICK IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW: \n⭐️LOCATION \nThe pageant will be held at Gate City High School on September 6th *Official check-in times and schedule will be posted closer to the pageant date. \n  \n⭐️WHO CAN PARTICIPATE \nAnyone from any state may participate in this pageant. We have categories for all ages (birth-40+) as well as our Star division for our special needs pageant sisters. ❗️YOU MUST BE A VIRGINIA RESIDENT TO COMPETE IN THE MISS DIVISION (AGES 16-22)❗️ \n  \n⭐️CATEGORIES OF COMPETITION⭐️ \n⭐️GOWN ONLY: Baby through Pre-Teen Miss & Star Division compete in evening gown ONLY \n⭐️OUTFIT OF CHOICE (OOC) & GOWN: Teen\, Miss\, Elegant and Elite contestants will compete in Glitter & Glam Outfit of Choice and Evening Gown \n⭐️PRIVATE PANEL INTERVIEW: Miss division only \n⭐️OPENING NUMBER & INTRODUCTION: Teen & Miss Division only \n*introduction is ONLY judged for Miss division \n⭐️COST⭐️ \nEntry Fees: \n⭐️Baby through Pre-Teen Miss $50 (GOWN ONLY & ALL IN for prettiest hair\, smile\, eyes\, best dressed\, most beautiful) \n⭐️Teen through Elite Miss $60 (Gown\, Outfit Of Choice\, & ALL IN for prettiest hair\, smile\, eyes\, best dressed\, most beautiful) \n  \n⭐️Optional: Most Photogenic $10 \n-Each contestant must submit a 5X7 or larger photo on pageant day. Photos need to be framed or in a sleeve. Failure to submit a photo by the required time will eliminate you from being chosen for this award. Day of pageant entry deadline is for all age divisions and will be announced closer to the date of pageant. \n  \n⭐️People’s Choice Award \nThis is awarded to the contestant who brings in the most money during the runtime of the pageant after their entry fees are paid. You may continue to turn in money until the last call is announced during the pageant. The winner will receive a crown\, custom sash\, printed award\, and a #gcglamgift. $1 each 1 vote \n  \n⭐️Most Sponsors Award \nThis is awarded to the contestant who brings in the most sponsorship money prior to the day of the pageant after their entry fees are paid. The winner will receive a crown\, custom sash\, printed award\, and a #gcglamgift. \n  \n✨⭐️All proceeds of this event benefit Gate City Frontier and their revitalization efforts of the Gate City Theater and Downtown Gate City\, Virginia.
